Message from the CEO

Greeting from the New Representative Director and President ITO Yuji

As of December 2023, I am the first person to take over the role of President after our founder, INOUE Takashi, and have become the second president of the company. This is a great responsibility, but I am ready to fulfill my duty.

Since our founding in 1997, LIFULL has been guided under our Corporate Credo "Altruism," and our Corporate Philosophy "Create a society where everyone can attain comfort and happiness through continuous social innovations". Nearly twenty-six years later, thanks to the warm support from the individuals working to realize our Corporate Credo and Philosophy as well as our clients, users, partners, shareholders and investors and all of our other shareholders, we have now become a large group of companies active in over sixty different countries and regions.

After graduating from university in 2006, I joined LIFULL (or NEXT Co., Ltd. at the time.) I started my career in a sales position for the real estate and housing information site, LIFULL HOME'S (or HOME'S at the time) and visited with real estate companies across Japan to help them find solutions to issues in the real estate industry. Later, I contributed to in increasing the presence of our business in homes for sale with projects such as the nationwide expansion of LIFULL HOME'S Sumai No Madoguchi. In 2019, I was asked to head the LIFULL HOME'S Business Division and have been devoting my time to helping grow the LIFULL HOME'S business. My career so far has been directly linked with the history and growth of LIFULL, and I am confident in my passion for the company and our businesses.

With this change in leadership of the company, I am working together with the founder, representative director and chairperson, Mr. Inoue. We will continue to collaborate to preserve the relationships with all of our stakeholders while also focusing on reaching three pillars of our Mid-Term Management Plan: Renewed Growth in LIFULL HOME'S, Increased Profitability of the Overseas Business and Developing the Real Estate x Finance Business. We will also continue to embody our Corporate Message "Make Every LIFE FULL" and find solutions to social issues through our businesses while increasing our corporate value and contributing to sustainable growth.
